I’m trying not to get too excited but I just had my second request for a full manuscript after reading query, summery and three chapters. The last one resulted in a rejection but here’s hoping this one doesn’t!

Needless to say she is so sad and lonely for him and so I thought this lovely book, by the fabulous Jenna Blum about what it is like to lose a beloved dog, but about much more, might help. If you haven’t read it and her other best-selling books don’t miss them!
Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
I just finished reading this wicked feminist book that manages to strongly put forward a point of view without ever being didactic or lecturing. It is funny and witty and altogether wonderful. Yay that it is a first novel by someone my age!!

I do believe I have been working on this book for at least six years and now it is going out into the world like a teenager with her first car. Can you get insurance?
